Why This Air Fryer Turkey Breast Better Than Roasting
I get it—cooking turkey can sometimes feel like a daunting task. The long cooking times, the risk of it drying out, the hassle of stuffing and basting… it’s enough to make anyone shy away! But with the air fryer, everything changes. I seriously love this invention. It allows the turkey to cook evenly, while locking in all that juiciness and tenderness, so you end up with a perfectly cooked turkey breast in so much less time.
And let’s not forget the crispy golden skin that forms from the magic of air frying—it’s absolutely irresistible!
Tips for Perfect Air Fryer Turkey Breast (every time!)
Use a Meat Thermometer: The best way to ensure your turkey is cooked perfectly is by using a meat thermometer. For a juicy turkey breast, the internal temperature should reach 75°C (165°F).
Customise the Seasonings: Feel free to adjust the herbs based on your taste. If you love garlic, try adding more garlic powder, or add some lemon zest for a fresh, citrusy twist.
Make It Extra Crispy: For an extra crispy skin (which I absolutely love!!), brush the turkey breast with a little olive oil more or melted butter before air frying. This will create a beautiful, golden crust.
Serve with Your Favorite Sides: This Air Fryer Turkey Breast pairs perfectly with roast or mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or even a fresh salad. You could also serve it with a simple gravy or homemade cranberry sauce for the ultimate comfort meal.
