If you’re looking for a speedy comforting Autumnal treat crumbles have to be one of the easiest and speediest things to whip up. What’s more, they’re always a crowd pleaser. Mr B and I are massive fans. If i’ve any fruit just on the turn, out comes a crumble. Today I wanted to share 3 of my favourite grain free crumble toppings that you can sprinkle on any of your favourite fruit fillings. All sugar free so totally compliant if you’re following healthy eating plans like I Quit Sugar, Whole30, Paleo, Keto, SCD or Gaps.
I love crumbles for breakfast as well as pudding and because these don’t contain sugar they’re a great high protein way to start the day too.

Method
Preheat the oven to 190C (fan assisted.)
Prepare your fruit filling in your own signature way or why not try my Grain Free Plum and Apple Crumble or Raspberry and Apple Breakfast Crumble.
Blitz the nuts and flax together in a high speed food processor until fine. Mix all the ingredients for either of the grain free crumble toppings together in a bowl and rub in the coconut oil or butter with your fingers. Don’t worry too much if it doesn’t all blend in as it will melt in the oven.
Transfer the fruit to a baking dish. Top with the grain free crumble topping and bake in the oven for about 20 minutes until golden.
Top with coconut yoghurt. Option to use Greek yoghurt if you’re not dairy free.
