These Vegan Cinnamon and Vanilla Baked Pears were a happy accident. Just goes to show that sometimes in life when you’re spontaneous, magic happens! I had all good intentions to make a soup today but when I was at the farmers market and eyed these cute, delicate pears, all plans skyballed out of the window!
Often I shy away from cooking pears because more often than not they’re clad in recipes calling for lots of sugar… tarte tatins, strudels and the likes and as you guys know I stay well clear of the refined stuff and prefer, where possible, just to sweeten naturally with fruit use fruit on it’s own. If dressed correctly, it doesn’t really need loads more sugar!
These Vegan Cinnamon and Vanilla Baked pears are wonderful simply alongside a little Coconut Yoghurt or topped on my Vegan Keto Oatmeal or Build Your Own Vegan Chia Porridge.
